The ecological footprint of the group is reflected in all its actions in particular through the Layout Optimization as well as in the implementation of the best technologies available in our sector.
To minimize their negative impacts, the entire group makes a careful rationalization of natural resources, taking advantage of the natural light together with electronic ballasts, regulating artificial energy flows, as well as the use of LEDs for interior and exterior lightening, inducing energy savings up to 5 times the power used, and usage of brightness sensors.
For water heating in the cafeteria and locker room, solar panels were installed, reducing the consumption of natural gas. In order to become more energy-efficient photovoltaic panels were installed for the production of electrical energy.
All the means of transport used internally are electric vehicles, minimizing the emission of air pollutants and the consumption of natural resources.
Manufacturing equipment of higher potency has electronic variators and throughout the electrical grid there are energy analyzers, continually improving the quality and efficiency of same, being audited annually.
To reduce the consumption of raw materials and/or subsidiaries and eliminate contamination, all equipments are provided with retention basins, where the existing spills are confined and subsequently removed, as in the case of oils which are aspirated and follow to purification process through a micro-filter and may be reinstated in the productive process.
All waste generated in the unit is forwarded to accredited operators for their treatment and recovery, optimizing their cargo by reducing it’s volume using compactors.
In order to minimize pollutant emissions, all combustion equipment are calibrated with precision electronic equipment and all production lines have air pollutant removal equipment, as in the case of gas (Scrubber).
All wastewater generated throughout the production process is forwarded to the WWTP suffering a debugging process, allowing for their release into the soil. In this treatment sewage sludge is produced, being sent to a company for incorporation in their manufacturing process, thus eliminating the impact of soil occupation.
As all producers and suppliers of the automotive industry, we also use chromium VI-free coating processes, as is the case of Geomet and zinc/Nickel.
